About me

Some hobbies of mine are painting and reading. I chose my major because I have always enjoyed learning about the human mind and how it works in a psychological sense. I also want my career to be in counseling or something of the sort and need/want the psychology background. I have applied to the School of Social Work so I can double major in psych and social work. My end goal is to be a social worker and use what I have gained from both of my degrees.

Why I chose IU Indianapolis

I chose IU Indianapolis because of the opportunities the campus has to offer. Knowing college would be a much different atmosphere than high school, I wanted to make sure I would have the resources to succeed and thrive after I graduate. I also have always wanted to be involved in research, and knowing that IU Indianapolis has many different research opportunities helped me decide this was where I belonged. As well as, I liked the faculty and staff and always had positive interactions with them.
