About me
I'm a marketing major in the Kelley School of Business. When I was in high school, I was involved in a lot of media and digital production classes. I found that to be something I wanted to do as I moved forward. I looked at college majors carefully and chose marketing—not only because of the content creation side but also the business, research, and analytical side. Might as well have experience in both. In my free time, you'll find me reading a book, listening to music while staring out of a window, walking my dog, or riding my bike.
Why I chose IUPUI (now IU Indianapolis)
I was actually debating on whether to attend IUPUI or IU Bloomington. I ended up choosing IUPUI because it's closer to home. I figured I might as well save some money if I'm going to be living at home and going to school.
My first college work experience
My first college work experience was as a marketing e-commerce intern for Freewheelin' Community Bikes in the Sophomore Internship Program. I was selected as one of the candidates to participate with a company partnering up for this program. I wanted to gain experience and have at least one internship before my sophomore year ended.
